Back to the referral scheme

1. Who runs the scheme

The promoter is FOLDMERE LTD, trading as Foldmere, company number 17484125, registered in England and Wales.

Registered office: Piccadilly Business Centre, Unit C Aldow Enterprise Park, Blackett Street, Manchester, M12 6AE.

For questions, disputes and day-to-day correspondence, contact hello@foldmere.co.uk. The registered office is not a customer visiting address.

2. Dates and eligibility

The campaign begins at 1 October 2026 at 09:43 and ends at 23:59 on 25 December 2026, using UK local time. Registration opens when the campaign launches. The referred client must accept a Foldmere website proposal by 23:59 on 31 January 2027.

Individuals must be aged 18 or over. Businesses may participate through an authorised representative aged 18 or over. Participants must be able to enter into this agreement and receive payment lawfully. Signing up does not guarantee commission. There is no cap on qualifying referrals in this campaign.

3. What qualifies

The referred customer or business must be new to Foldmere and must not already be in active discussion, discovery, proposal or Foldmere’s prospecting pipeline before the referral. They must purchase a qualifying website design or development project and meet the campaign and proposal deadlines.

A successful qualifying referral counts towards the commission tier once Foldmere has received the full qualifying website fee. Payment can take place after the proposal deadline. No commission is payable on an enquiry alone, a deposit alone or an unpaid balance. Self-referrals are excluded. One referral reward applies per new client or business unless Foldmere expressly agrees otherwise for a genuinely separate project.

4. Identifying your introduction

The referrer must be identifiable at the initial enquiry, normally by full name or referral code. Ask the customer to include it in the optional referral field. A code match helps us identify the introduction but does not confirm eligibility or entitlement to commission.

If two people claim the same introduction, Foldmere uses the earliest valid attribution and may ask the customer to confirm who introduced them. Ambiguous names or incomplete details may need clarification. No referral tracking cookies are used.

5. Rates and the five-referral top-up

The base commission rate is 15% for one to four successful qualifying referrals. Once you reach five successful qualifying referrals from this campaign, your rate becomes 25% across every qualifying referral in the campaign, including the first four and subsequent qualifying referrals.

If an earlier qualifying commission was already paid at 15%, Foldmere pays an additional 10% of that referral’s qualifying website fee. This brings its total commission to 25%. Unpaid qualifying commissions are calculated at the applicable higher rate. Foldmere administers and checks these calculations manually.

6. How commission is calculated

Commission is based on Foldmere’s own website design and development fee actually received from the client after discounts. It excludes:

  • VAT, if applicable;
  • domains and hosting;
  • paid third-party software and services;
  • payment-provider fees;
  • advertising spend;
  • ongoing Website Care; and
  • other pass-through or external costs.

For example, a qualifying fee of £699 produces £104.85 at 15% or £174.75 at 25%. Examples are illustrative and are not a promise of earnings.

7. Receiving payment

Commission is paid by bank transfer after Foldmere receives the full qualifying website project fee. Our target is within 14 days of receiving that full fee, subject to having the payment information needed to make the transfer. Bank details are requested only when commission is due, not at registration.

When the fifth qualifying referral unlocks the higher tier, our target is to pay any 10% top-ups within 14 days of that qualification, alongside the fifth commission where practical. We will explain any delay and work to resolve it promptly.

8. Cancellations, refunds and abuse

Cancelled, refunded, fraudulent or charged-back amounts do not qualify. Commission is adjusted to reflect the qualifying fee retained. If a refund occurs after payout, Foldmere may offset the relevant overpayment against future referral commission and will explain the calculation.

Fraudulent, fabricated or abusive referrals may be invalidated. Foldmere will review concerns fairly and may request relevant evidence. Contact us if you believe an attribution or calculation is incorrect.

9. Your role and responsibilities

Participation does not create an employment, partnership or agency relationship. Referrers cannot quote prices, enter into commitments or make promises on Foldmere’s behalf. Foldmere agrees scope, pricing and timescales directly with each client.

You are responsible for your own tax and reporting obligations on referral income. Public and social promotion must clearly disclose the commercial relationship where required, for example with an appropriate Ad, affiliate or referral disclosure. Do not make misleading claims or send unlawful unsolicited marketing.

10. Privacy

We use registration and referral information to identify introductions, administer the scheme and arrange commission payments. Information may come from you or from a referred customer. We do not publish referrer records. Payment and accounting records may be retained to meet applicable accounting and legal obligations. See our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

Foldmere will not materially change these terms after launch except where required by law or to correct an obvious error. Any correction will be explained and will not unfairly disadvantage already-valid referrals. The end of the campaign does not remove valid commission rights under these terms.
